About Hayes Bath Co.

Hayes Bath Co. is a bathroom remodeling crew based in Delaware County, Ohio, and we do one thing: the wet area of the bathroom. Tubs, showers, tub-to-shower conversions, and walk-in tubs. We do not remodel kitchens, we do not finish basements, and we do not act as a general contractor who subcontracts your bath out to whoever is available. The crew that measures your bathroom is the crew model that installs it, and the price you get is a written flat quote, agreed in full before any work begins.

We built the company around a simple observation from years in this trade. Most bathroom misery lives in about thirty square feet: the tub or shower, its walls, its valve, and its drain. That is also the part of a remodel that goes wrong most often in other people's projects, because it involves plumbing, waterproofing, and finishes in the same small space. By doing only that part, and doing it every day across Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, and the rest of our service area, we have turned it into a system: consultation, exact measurement, preparation off site, and an installation that for most jobs takes a single day.

Bath Only, On Purpose

Specializing was a choice, not a limitation we ended up with. A general remodeler spreads attention, crews, and suppliers across every trade in a house. We put all of ours into one: wall systems that do not grow mildew in the grout lines because there are no grout lines, bases that do not flex, valves we know by heart, and installers who have set the same systems hundreds of times.

It also keeps us honest about fit. If your bathroom problem is really a layout problem that needs walls moved and a full redesign, we will tell you that a design-build firm is the right call and that we are not. If the tub and shower are the problem, which they are in most of the homes we visit, we will very likely be the fastest, most predictable way to fix them, and we are glad to be compared on price, in writing, against anyone.

There is a second benefit to the narrow focus: we know your housing stock. The 1990s master suite with the jetted tub and the corner stall, the 2000s subdivision fiberglass unit that cracks at year eighteen, the century home with one small bath and a cast-iron tub. We have a plan for each because we see each every week, and that familiarity is worth real money and real days on a project.

How We Work

Every job runs on the same rails, because rails are what keep a remodel from becoming a story.

It starts with a free in-home design consultation. We come to your home, measure the bath properly, look at the plumbing we can see, and talk through what you want changed and why. We bring samples of the wall systems, bases, fixtures, and glass, so you are choosing finishes in your own light, not under showroom fluorescents or from a phone screen.

Then you get the work order: a written flat quote for the complete job. Removal and disposal of the old unit, plumbing, installation, and finishes, in one number. Not an estimate with allowances, not a range that depends on how the day goes. The number we write is the number you pay for the work described, and it does not come with an expiration date designed to pressure you.

When you book, we prepare. Your system is measured and cut to fit your bath before install day, which is why install day is short: floors protected, water off only while it needs to be, old unit out and hauled away, new system set, sealed, and finished. Most jobs are complete in a day. Sealants then need their cure time, and we tell you plainly when the bath is ready to use, usually the following day.

After the install, we stand behind the work. The systems we install carry their manufacturers' warranties, and our installation work is our responsibility: if something we installed is not right, we come back and make it right.

Where We Work

We are based in Delaware County and work across the northern Columbus suburbs and the county seats around them. Our regular service area includes Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, Westerville, Sunbury, Marysville, and Marion, and the townships and neighborhoods in between, from Bridge Park to Evans Farm to Uptown Westerville.

Serving a defined area matters to the work. It keeps our crews close, our scheduling reliable, and our knowledge of local housing, from Muirfield Village colonials to Marion foursquares, specific instead of generic. If you are near the edge of the area and unsure whether we cover your home, call (740) 555-0100 and ask. We would rather tell you honestly than stretch the map.

Your new bath could be done tomorrow.
